Nairobi - After what seemed to be endless months in the United States, gospel singer Willy Paul is set to be back in the country according to a post he made on Facebook.
The gospel superstar has been on a tour across the US visiting several states and performing for Kenyans and Americans alike.
He wrote, “Am coming home, home where I belong, Kenya are you ready for me?”
The response to his performances has been lively and he undoubtedly left his fans wanting more from him.
His never ending love for the music industry shone through a week ago when he and Gloria Muliro stepped down from their awards nominations. This was due to the fact they didn’t want to be selfish by opting to give space to the younger talents to prosper and win.
Critics have however claimed that his stepping down was from the fear of being beaten by the younger artists, to which he replied on a post on his wall, “Someone inboxed me and told me that i stepped down from thiz yearz groove becoz i fear being thrushed by my bro Bahati. Thats not true, Bahati is my very good friend and we dnt have any difference. The rizon why i did wat i did is becoz i want to pave way for new artist with fresh talents. I want them to prosper too. Am not selfish. I love u my fans.”
