Wife hacks husband to death

A woman is being held by police for hacking her husband to death in Maina village in Nyahururu District.

According to Nyandarua North OCPD Benjamin Onsongo who confirmed the incident, the woman told police that she had been bored by her husband.

She is also alleged to have accused the husband of coming home late and allegedly picking up a quarrel with her.

Neighbours rushed to the scene after the woman started screaming saying that she has killed her husband, with her baby strapped on her back.

Her clothes were soaked with blood and she had a deep cut on her hand.

On entering the rental house, they found him on the floor bleeding profusely and rushed him to Nyahururu District hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.

The man’s body was taken to Nyahururu District hospital mortuary.
