Nakuru - Nakuru town has continued to experience tremendous growth and has so far been christened 'the new party city' in the country.
Resting at the heart of the Great Rift Valley, Nakuru town has also become a darling to many investors in the country.
However, during the weekends, the town is normally transformed into 'Las Vegas' where revellers from across the country converge to enjoy themselves.
Nakuru normally experiences a class of guests who coincidentally come to party in the town due to the quiet nature of the town and the availability of a wide range of party joints.
Nakuru town has also been baptized 'Nax-Vegas', a name that was coined from 'Las Vegas', due to party mood of the town.
Just like Las Vegas in America, Nakuru also has its motto: What happens in Nax stays in Nax.
According to an event organizer in Nakuru, Freddy Rashid, the town provides a perfect escape route for most revellers from other parts of the country.
“This town normally gets busy during the weekends and that’s why many people come here to have fun,” he said.
Rashid added that most of the merrymakers are college and university students.
He added that some of the guests start arriving in Nakuru as early as Friday afternoon hoping to kickstart their weekend in style.
