Nairobi - President Uhuru Kenyatta has blamed Cabinet Secretaries for failing to help young Kenyan entrepreneurs as they always miss out on opportunities to meet them.
The President, speaking during the opening of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2015 GES Kenya Chapter at the Strathmore University in Nairobi, Tuesday said that he was disappointed that the CS's were missing from such an event whilst they were quick to attend those they are called to by foreigners.
" Where are they? Where is Matiang'i (Fred), where is Aden (Mohammed)? I can only see Ann (Waiguru) here," he said in his speech.
The President reiterated that his government was keen on ensuring young entrepreneurs and budding Kenyans are given opportunities to do business.
" My government is keen on ensuring that Kenyans are given opportunities thus the 30% rule that has been implemented to give youth, women and the disabled chances," he added.
The Kenyan chapter of the GES will lead up to the global version which will be opened by US president Barrack Obama next month in Nairobi.
