When Uhuru finally arrived early

Nairobi - If you are the journalistic type or even keen enough, you will know that President Uhuru Kenyatta rarely arrives early for any engagement, not this time though.
The President was ridiculously early at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Friday night to meet the arriving US President Barrack Obama and waited for over 30 minutes just for POTUS as they call him to arrive.
And even here today in Gigiri where he and Obama will be opening the Global Entrepreneurship Summit GES, he is in early.. Surprise surprise for me and the rest of the teams here.
State House officials have been keen to remind us though that we should not go too hard on our President. He is just star struck like the rest of us.
So far so good for Uhuru and the organizers of this grand event as Kenya has indeed set up a great exercise going if word from delegates is anything to go by.
" This is very good. I am impressed by my stay and the organizational efforts," Juliana Foster, a delegate at the conference says.
" The word out there is that this country is on its knees. What I have seen is nothing but and I have told everyone back home," the Canadian national told News24.
The summit ends Sunday.
