What is Ole Lenku smoking? Ahmednasir hits out at CS

04 November 2014, 20:58 Victor Tinto

Nairobi - Lawyer Ahmednassir Abdulahi has said he will not apologize for apparently insulting Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Ole Lenku.

Ole Lenku had ordered Ahmednassir to apologize or face court action for apparently linking him to the grabbing of the KES 8 billion 134 acre parcel of land in Karen Nairobi.

In a letter to Ahmednassir, Ole Lenku had ordered him to apologize or face the full force of the law.

He had given the lawyer 24 hours to apologize or face civil action for misusing social media site Twitter where he made the said allegations.

Through his lawyer Donald Kipkorir, Ole Lenku had said that his name and reputation was on the line thanks to the allegations.

But a charged up Ahmednassir said that he would stand by his comments and would take on Ole Lenku whenever necessary.

" The content of the said letter and more so the demand herein is utter nonsense. I stand by, justifiable every word of what I twitted (sic)," he lashed out.

" What reputation or character are you talking about?," he said of Ole Lenku.

" What hatred, ridicule or contempt are you talking about? To quote the now famous words of American owner of Liverpool Football Club, “what are you smoking over there?” you seem not to know that much about the minimalist and dwarf standing of your client among the Kenyan society, he added.

Ole Lenku and his team are yet to respond to the letter and its contents.

Ahmednassir had accused Ole Lenku on Twitter of using force to grab the land that is currently under heavy contest.

" Yesterday and today Ole Lenku with 500 Maasai warriors and 75 GSU officers took over by force Nguruman farm. He arrested all 76 workers," he claimed.
