Wetangula developed breathing problems just before arrival in Kisumu and was quickly rushed to hospital for treatment, Friday morning.

" Initial signs show it is fatigue and nothing more. We are looking at him closely and will report back on any new development, even though unlikely, he said.

Wetangula has recently had a tight schedule, criss-crossing the country and continent in recent months.

CORD leader Raila Odinga is at the hospital with Wetangula as are other senior politicians.
