Western MPs want Mudavadi to team up with Kalonzo ahead of 2017

Naivasha - A section of members of parliament from western Kenya now want UDF leader, Musalia Mudavadi to forge an alliance with Wiper leader, Kalonzo Musyoka ahead of the 2017 general elections.
Speaking Sunday at a western leaders retreat at Naivasha's Samba lodge, the MPs said that Mudavadi and Kalonzo have higher chances of ascending to power in 2017 if they put their act together.
Funyula Member of Parliament, Paul Otuoma and his Luanda counterpart, Chris Omulele said that Kalonzo-Mudavadi candidature will be easily saleable to Kenyans as opposed to a Raila-Kalonzo candidature.

“The time to prepare for 2017 is now and we want Mudavadi to come out of the closet and start working on his strategies as early as now. We feel Kalonzo will be the best person to pair with and we will rally the Luhyia nation to overwhelmingly vote for them should they decide to team up,” said Otuoma.
On his part, Omulele said that they will support Mudavadi only if he partners with someone like Kalonzo.
“It doesn’t matter whether Mudavadi becomes the flag bearer or the running mate. All we want is for him to work with Kalonzo because that is the only place we can see some light ahead of 2017,” said Omulele.
The duo called on CORD leader, Raila Odinga to throw his support behind Kalonzo and Mudavadi as the only way of outsmarting the Jubilee alliance in 2017.
