West African star to perform in Kenya

04 February 2015, 18:52 Eugene Odanga

Nairobi - The events season for the year has finally kicked off after a rather dreary and event-less January, thanks to the festive season which left most Kenyans a touch light in their pockets.

This year's events calendar for the Live at the Elephant show kicks off this Friday the 5th with a live performance from Swiss born, Senegalese Malian afro-soul Sensation Thais Diarra.

Her musical resume speaks for itself, with an album out and numerous hits that have managed to touch and inspire people from all over the world. Her diverse background gives her an edge with her musical feel being as diverse, mixing the best of the three worlds that she has lived in to come up with a palpable afro-soul experience.

Her vocals are stunning and her messages are delivered right to the souls of the people who have watched her perform.

To start your month off in style, the Elephant on James Gichuru road is the only place to be. Tickets are going for KES 1500 (Advance from Ticket Sasa), and 2000 at the Gate.
