Welcome to the Kenya Kite festival
03 March 2015, 16:03
Nairobi - Kite flying hasn't exactly been a big thing among the adults
in Kenya mostly because it has been thought as a children’s
thing. Urban Live Festivals, in partnership with BM security are determined to
break this belief by bringing to you, for the first time in East Africa, the
Kenya Kite Festival.
It is an event which is meant to bring out the child in
the parents, giving them an opportunity to do kiting with their children. The
old get a chance to have fun like they never have had before with kites while
the young get to learn new tricks from their parents and each other.
The event is set for the 15th of March from
midday till 5 Pm at the Nairobi Polo Club, with tickets going for KES 600 for adults and KES 350 for
children (Advance) and KES 800 for adults and KES 500 for children at the gate.
There will be music, food and other fun activities to look forward to including
a craft market with amazing bargains.
