Nairobi - Kenneth Lusaka is the New Ford Kenya NFK chairman, replacing Eugene Wamalwa.
Lusaka replaces Wamalwa who has now ascended to the Cabinet after being appointed Cabinet Secretary for Water and Irrigation last week by president Uhuru Kenyatta.
The new leaders were elected Tuesday at a Nairobi hotel.
Lusaka promised to uphold NFK values during his time at the helm.
" It is a tough job leading the party but I will uphold it to the highest regard," he said in his acceptance speech.
Wamalwa on his part thanked the party members for the support they handed him during his time as chairman.
" I thank you all for the support you gave me in my time as the chairman. I wish the new team all the best," he stated.
Former Cherangany MP Kipruto Arap Kirwa was named the party vice chairman in the new changes.
