Waititu wields axe on Kabogo

Nairobi - The new Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu has said that he will work to deliver the legacy of former MP George Muchai.
Waititu is the new MP after winning the Monday by election by a landslide.
He replaces Muchai who was killed in cold blood in January and says that he will commit himself to fulfilling his legacy.
" I will work to fulfill Muchai's legacy in the remaining two years I have, before the coming elections," he told News24 in his victory speech.
The clearly happy Waitutu then confirmed that he would seek to run for the 2017 Kiambu Governors seat currently held by William Kabogo.
" We will work together until we end up in Kiambu town," he added, staking a claim for Kabogo's seat in what is likely to be one of the highlights of the 2017 General Elections.
Kabogo has thus far steered clear of the debate on what Waititu's plans for the Governor's position means to him.
