Nairobi - Teachers’ unions have been asked to stop working with the opposition in fighting the government.
Kabete MP, Ferdinand Waititu accused the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) of being opportunistic by holding political rallies with teachers.
Waititu claimed that CORD has failed in its opposition role.
Speaking in Nyeri, the controversial politician stated that today's rally by teachers will give CORD political mileages.

“The rally will not in any way address the teachers’ plight. Teachers’ unions have approached the wrong parties to solve their issues. They should negotiate their demands with their employer,” said Waititu.
“CORD members have become generals of wars that are not theirs. Teachers should not join opposition in creating tension. The rally is uncalled for,” he added.
