Veteran actor Derick Amunga to be laid to rest

Nairobi - The TV industry has been met with a lot of sorrowful news the past few weeks, starting with the death of actor Jastorina right after she was awarded a Kalasha award.
Barely a few days after that, another actor Derick Amunga was found dead at the Kenyatta National Hospital after he was run over in a hit and run incident.
Post person’s Posters had been made and were being circulated two days before he was found at the hospital, after it was discovered that he was missing. The veteran actor, best known for playing the role of “Master Sugu” has been mourned by many in the industry and the country at large.
A requiem mass will be held Wednesday at the Kenyatta National Hospital chapel from noon, and viewing of his body will be held at the Kenya National Theatre Thursday before his body travels to Kakamega for the burial.
" His is a big loss to the industry and we will all miss his presence as well as wit on and off the screen, a statement released by the actors guild read.
