University makes masturbation plea
10 May 2015, 17:34
Nairobi - The Kenyatta University has told its students to stop masturbating in bathrooms and showers as it looks to reduce plumbing costs.
In a notice to students, the University has stated that masturbation in bathrooms is against its code of conduct and that anyone doing so is breaking the law.
" Masturbation in the showers is against the Kenyatta University bathroom code. Our drains are not built to withstand semen," it says.
" Every year, Kenyatta University spends thousands of shillings in maintenance because of the excessive amounts of semen stuck in the pipes.
" The cost of the repair will be channeled into the school fees as it is done through independent contractors and not KU personnel.
" Please masturbate in your bedroom, the notice finishes.
It is not yet clear what steps the University will take to enforce the law.
