Following the call for uniform administration of justice, Kenya's Justice Minister Eugene Wamalwa has planned a new programme with the pastoral communities.
This programe will involve circuit courts in Pokot and Turkana community to help in administration of justice following incompetent traditional
"Kangaroo" courts traditionally headed by traditional chiefs.
The move came after an agreement with the Chief justice Willy Mutua in a bid to wipe out all unfair treatment on victims during
case precisions locally.
Apart from the seats of justice, the Pokot eastern residences have also pleaded with the government and well wishers to provide seeds to them.
This would help reduce high food dependency and cut the habit of trans-humance hence leading to a settled lives and therefore likelihood of enhanced productivity, the area chief Enoch Kongelai said
