Under pressure Ngilu to name Langata land grabber

Nairobi - Lands Cabinet Secretary Charity Ngilu will name the Langata Road Primary School playground land grabber, according to reports.
Ngilu has been under severe pressure from several fronts to name the land grabber who has been said to be behind the Airport View Housing LTD, which has been named as having claimed the land that belonged to the school.
According to sources close to the CS, she will name the faces behind the scam by the close of business Thursday.
" She will name the land grabber. The pressure is too much at the moment, she will name the names," the source that did not want to be named told News24.
Ngilu, together with National Lands Commission chairman Mohammed Swazuri have been blamed for the handling of the land and not intervening as early as possible when the land was fenced.
It is understood that the grabbing of the land was instituted by a senior government official, who no one has been willing to name so far, even president Kenyatta himself.
The president has so far steered clear of the name or identity of the person behind the land grabbing, as have all senior government officials that have commented on the matter.
MPs have threatened to censure Ngilu if she does not name the person involved.
" The name is under government records and we demand to know who it is, nominated MP Johnstone Sakaja, a key part of the ruling Jubilee coalition said of the matter.
