Uhuru signs controversial NSSF bill into law

Nairobi - President Uhuru Kenyatta has signed eight bills into law, including the controversial NSSF bill.
The president signed the bills into law at State House Nairobi in the presence of top parliamentary officials including Speaker Justin Muturi.
The most eye catching of the lot was the NSSF bill which will see working Kenyans deducted 6% of their monthly income.
The bills signed into law include the Capital Markets (amendment) Bill, the Election Campaign Financing Bill, Wildlife Conservation and Management Bill, the National Social Security Bill, the Media Council Bill, the Insurance Motor Vehicle Thirty Party Bill, the Truth Justice and Reconciliation (amendment) Bill and the Vetting of Judges and Magistrates (amendment) Bill.
