Uhuru remembers late father Jomo in emotional memorial

Nairobi - President Uhuru Kenyatta has remembered his late father and insisted that Kenyans remember their founding fathers.
Uhuru told Kenyans during the remembrance of his father's death that Kenyans must remember and respect those who fought to free the nation from bondage.
" This country needs all of us. This country requires all of us to
work in unity and harmony in order for us to achieve the objectives
that our forefathers set for us; that is fight illiteracy, hunger and

achieve great things for this country,” he told the congregation.
Uhuru spoke at the Holy Family Basilica Saturday morning during the remembrance day.
He thereafter, together with family laid a wreath on his grave.
