Uhuru proud of victorius Sauti Sol

27 October 2014, 18:03 Eugene Odanga

Nairobi - President Uhuru Kenyatta said he was proud of boy band Sauti Sol after they won a global award for their musical performances.

Fame and fortune seems to have come in abundance for the band after they were nominated as the Best African act, and getting a chance to be named the Best World Wide Act 2014 in the MTV awards. Their success seems to have no limit, and even the president of the republic has realized this fact.

Sauti Sol spent the weekend with the president for his birthday party where they posted a picture of themselves with the head of state with the caption “Awesome birthday party!! Happy birthday Mr President.

The band  also took some time to welcome evicted BBA contestant Melvin back into the country despite all the hate he has been receiving. They wrote “Kenya stand up. Welcome back Alusa.

They are also set to perform live in Paris this November at the 52 quai du Point de Jour, Boulogne Billancourt.

The sky seems to be the limit for this group, which seems to be paving its way to global super-stardom every new day.
