Nairobi - President Uhuru Kenyatta's popularity has dropped, according to a poll.
The poll by Ipsos Synovate released Thursday says that the president's popularity, which was at 76% has dropped to 66% following the Garissa University College terror attack.
Three out of five Kenyans 60% also think that the country is heading in the wrong direction.
Eight out of 10 Kenyans 80% think that the Al Shabaab terror group is a serious threat to the country and its development and must be seriously looked at.
The matter of the presence of the Kenya Defence Forces KDF in Somalia was split evenly.
The results were released by Dr Tom Wolf of Ipsos Synovate in Nairobi, where he said that Kenyans feel insecure in the country.
" Kenyans overall feel insecure and would like the president to effectively deal with the problem with terrorism," he said.
