Uhuru knows who fixed Ruto, Raila says

Nairobi - CORD leader Raila Odinga says that President Uhuru Kenyatta is the one who knows who fixed Deputy President William Ruto at the International Criminal Court ICC.
Raila says that there was no way he and other leaders of the current opposition fixed Ruto as they themselves were the ones who asked Ruto to spearhead negotiations for the formation of the grand coalition government in 2008.
" Back then, Ruto was a part of us. He was our comrade. He spearheaded talks for the Grand Coalition government. The hypocrisy levels of what I have been hearing in recent times is ridiculous," Raila lamented.
Back then, the Orange Democratic Movement ODM was represented in the talks by Sally Kosgey, James Orengo, Musalia Mudavadi and Ruto
with the Party of National Unity PNU represented by NARC Kenya leader Martha Karua, Mutula Kilonzo and Moses Wetangula.
Raila argues that many Kalenjins from Ruto's backyard were killed in the ensuing post election violence and that it made no sense for Ruto to be fixed by ODM, whilst he was protecting their interests.
Raila then named Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria as being behind the fixing.
" It is clear that the fixers were in PNU and Kuria is one of them, seeing as he has admitted so and was back then a part of their machinery," he stated.
The ICC is looking to investigate the claims by Kuria that he coached witnesses to testify against Ruto in the ICC cases.
