Uhuru has let Kenya down badly, Mudavadi accuses

Nairobi - Opposition leader Musalia Mudavadi has hit out at President Uhuru Kenyatta for what he calls blatantly letting the country down.
Mudavadi says that instead of moving the country forward, the President has instead led Kenya to the dogs.
" The President cannot be voted for again in 2017. He has let the country down very badly," Mudavadi said in a statement.
" The country is debt riddled, corruption is sky high at the moment, cost of living is rising and tribalism is killing us. We need better. We deserve change," he added.
Mudavadi said that if given the chance to become President, he would repair the damage done, just like he mad mince meat of the Goldenberg scandal back in the 90's.
" I helped Kenya move on through the terrible 1990's when the country had been made a
pariah as a result of Goldenberg looting. I got the country moving
again from the doldrums through major economic reforms. The dark times are back but I can change it," he added.
Mudavadi was clear that the Jubilee Coalition would take Kenya to worse places that it was in the Moi era.
" The Moi era was bad. This is worse," he continued.
It is estimated that since the Jubilee Coalition came into power, the debt garnered by the government is 3 times more than what the previous government under President Mwai Kibaki collected in two terms in power.
Debt is estimated to be at 57% of the country's Gross Domestic Product GDP.
