Uhuru, Raila meet up in Tanzania

Nairobi - President Uhuru Kenyatta and CORD leader Raila Odinga shared a podium in Tanzania during President John Magufuli's inauguration.
The two leaders, who have been at loggerheads in the country over several matters in recent times were seen speaking on a number of occasions and even shared a photo with Magufuli together with their respective wives.
Uhuru spoke at the function, welcoming Magufuli to the East African Community Heads of State Caucus and congratulating Tanzanians for a peaceful elections.
" Tanzania has been a friend of Kenya's for the longest time and I thus bring a message of congratulations and happiness from the people of Kenya," he said.
Magufuli is a known friend of Raila's.
" I congratulate my good friend John Pombe Magufuli as well as the people of Tanzania on this auspicious occasion," he said in part in a statement.
Raila's CORD coalition has in the recent times been on the case of Uhuru's administration over its perceived plans for the country as well as continued corruption and wastefulness.
