Uganda's sex workers announce Christmas discount

Kampala - Sex workers in Kampala have announced a 50% reduction in price of procuring their services during the festive season.
The chairperson of Kampala Sex Workers Association, Nancy Namugi said they have been illegally operating in Kampala because there are men who can't do without them.
"We have many customers who come for our services including prominent people. We have decided to reduce our prices so that our customers can enjoy to the fullest," she said.
However, Namugi decried police harassment during their business operation.
"Police arrest us and ask for bribes. Those who fail to pay are taken and detained before being taken to court to be charged for being idle and disorderly," she added.
She wished their customers a merry Christmas and asked them to take advantage of the reduced prices to visit them as many times as they can afford.
