UDF kicked out of Nairobi offices

Nairobi - The United Democratic Front UDF has been kicked out of its Nairobi offices to pave way for the newly formed Amani National Congress ANC.
The ANC announced that it had taken over the offices in Lavington Nairobi after parting ways with UDF over leadership wrangles.
After several court cases and lawsuits, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi decided to move on and form the ANC and now has taken over all offices in the country that had been used by UDF since it owns them.
" We own the offices so UDF cannot have claim to them, so we have re-branded," Secretary General Godfrey Osotsi told News24 on phone.
" We have 26 other offices across the country and now we are looking forward to supporter registration," he added.
The ANC will be looking to stake its claim in the political space in the coming 24 months as the run-up to the 2017 General Elections begins.
Mudavadi is expected to be the party's candidate for the polls.
