Enaga said the girl's mother who financed her to procure the abortion from a traditional attendant was one of those nabbed by the police alongside the attendant herself.
He added that the Chief intervened following a tip off from members of public.
The traditional attendant was arrested in her Amairo home while the girl's mother was nabbed at Uplands area in Malaba by the police.
Enaga warned parents who take the law into their own hands by helping their daughters procure an abortion that stiffer punishment will be meted on them.
