Two suspects arrested over livestock theft

Nyeri - Police in Tetu in Nyeri County have arrested two men who are believed to be behind a spate of livestock theft in the area.
James Maina Kimani and Philip Wachira Wanjira were taken to Nyeri police station to await arraignment in court.
They were arrested after a woman reported that her sheep had gone missing. After a search in collaboration with area residents the suspects were found in possession of the animal.
They were arrested and escorted to Tetu police station.
Recently residents have been complaining of insecurity in the region.
