Two men found dead in Nakuru

01 October 2013, 22:16 Wishere

Nakuru - A middle aged man was found dead on Tuesday morning by local residents of Langa Langa near Afraha stadium in Nakuru town.

According to Nakuru OCPD, Bernard Kioko, he said that the body of the man did not have any physical injuries and that they suspect it was a sudden death.

“We received the information from the members of the public and we found the man without no injuries which rules out the murder” he said

He added that the man might have died at night and that he did not have any credentials on his pockets at the time the police went to collect his body.

Kioko said that a postmortem will be conducted to find out whether the man may have been poisoned.

“The man did not have any identification cards on him when we found him but we are still going to conduct a postmortem to a certain whether it was sudden death or he was poisoned” the police chief said.

At the same time, Kioko told the media that another man was also found dead in a similar way at bus terminal in Nakuru town on Monday evening.

He said that the man felt down and passed away a thing he said has raised suspicion among the public over the mysterious deaths of the two men in a span of 24 hours.

“Unfortunately this is not the first incident we had another similar case where a man just felt down and he passed away” he said.

The OCPD said that police are still conducting investigation to unravel mysterious death of the two men.
