Hard task chosing governor offices

15 March 2013, 14:45 Kelvin Wanjohi

Preparations to create offices for governors - elect are underway in Nyandarua and Laikipia counties.

Nyandarua governor - elect, Waithaka Mwangi and his Laikipia Counterpart, Joshua Irungu, have put the transition authorities on their toes to decide where their offices will be located, with some stakeholders suggesting Olkalou and Nyahururu for Nyandarua, and Rumuruti and Nanyuki  for Laikipia governor respectively.

In Nyandarua, the party which the governor is expected to throw for his people will apparently be held in Olkalou while that of Laikipia governor -elect will be held in Nanyuki town leading to strong decisions that that will be the county headquarters respectively.
