Thugs poison famous Nairobi businessman's dogs, rob wife

Nairobi - Thugs robbed well known Nairobi businessman Yagnesh Devani, poisoned four dogs and robbed the wife of property worth over KES 500,000.
The thugs made their way into the Devani's Muthaiga residence in Nairobi, broke inside and went directly to his wife Adna's room.
The ordered her to give them her gun and then proceeded to open the safe and steal jewelry and money.
They also stole her phone and 800 Euros in cash as well as two television sets. They also stole two play-station games and a diamond watch.
They then disappeared on foot.
Police were alerted to the 3 AM incident and immediately arrested four guards at the home for questioning to ascertain why they did not react to the break in even after the thugs had disappeared.
" They broke in way too easily and stole. We are trying to ascertain why the guards did not react to the incident at all, " Starehe OCS Bernard Nyakwaka told News24.
Nyakwaka said that the police were trying to trace the thugs but would treat the incident with seriousness.
Devani is a well known businessman most famous for the Triton Oil Scandal where he is alleged to have swindled the country of billions of shillings.
