There are no divisions in ODM, says Namwamba

Nairobi - Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba has dismissed reports that there are divisions in the Orange Democratic Movement following last week’s aborted party polls.
Namwamba termed the incident as unfortunate saying it stained the party’s image but they are determined to see the party rise again in preparation for 2017 elections.
“There are no factions in ODM, we are one family,” Namwamba said during an interview on Citizen Television.
He said that was not the end of ODM.
“That was a stumble but not a fall. ODM did not plan to fail because all party organs were well prepared. I believe that the committee that was formed will get to the root cause of the chaos,” he said.
Namwamba said he will assist in the investigations by giving the committee the information he saying those who caused the chaos are well known people in the party and some have already been identified.
“I do not blame the party organs on this, they did their best, the problem was with some individuals who were afraid of the outcome of the election,” he said.
