The motive of the G7 Alliance

29 June 2012, 14:32Martin M.

I thought democracy is build on political issues or a positive agenda for the country, but what I am seeing is opposite, it has come out to be a political motive to block an individual from ascending into leadership.

Members of G7 always play with our minds; they do not want to announce their presidential torchbearer.  Is it a plot to divide Kenyans into regional affiliations to force for presidential run-off election? If things go as their mathematics suggest, then one of their own will be the president of this country, then what?

Some sources indicate that some political leaders are just in the race to snatch a few votes. Most of them are not in the race to State House, but only as a stumble block for genuine aspirants. What a shame! We need genuine people to run this country, not political marionettes as leaders.

I believe in democracy, I mean genuine running for leadership in this country.

It is time to shun political alliances whose motives are to block an individual, other than having genuine agenda for Kenya.

We are fighting tribalism in all measures possible; however, this kind of grouping will derail our effort to unite all Kenyans. We need a leader who can unite all Kenyans, this is possible only if we stop thinking tribally, and to avoid being misled by leaders who have hidden agenda for Kenya –you and me.

The person I was earnestly supporting recently he joined hands with controversial leaders in what he termed as party strengthening mechanism. I guess he is hiding something in his presidential bid. I wonder how clean he is when he dines together with people who have bad image in Kenya. Anyway, this is Kenya!
