The dangers of sitting

Nairobi - Sitting is important and inevitable in life.
Nevertheless, when done to some extremes it posses a lot of danger to one's physical health.
Sitting for long hours without frequent breaks will lead to backache especially if the sitting posture is not perfect.
When this pain escalates, it leads to continued severe body aches that may require serious medical attention to mitigate.
Again, sitting especially for long hours may cause backbone deformation leading to a deformed back. This could lead to a permanent body posture deformation if immediate correction measures are not taken.

The unavoidable act of sitting when done in uncontrolled manner lowers general body fitness and in most cases may lead to general body weight increase.
This poses a serious health issue which may take a lifetime to reverse.
It is therefore of importance to ensure one is in the right sitting posture whenever they are sitting.
Frequent rising to stretch is highly encouraged to ensure the body remains fit and refreshed.
