Tenant pours urine on landlord

27 July 2015, 21:35 Gidfrey Olukya

Kampala - A landlord who usually knocks at the doors of his tenants very early in the morning demand for rent, got shocked when one of his female tenants poured urine on him.

Simon Egesa, owns several rentals in Bugembe township, located 82 kilometers east of Kampala. He is known for being very strict over payment of rent to the extent that on the day after a tenant's rent expires he goes very early the next morning to demand for money for the new month.

On his houses rent is paid upfront.

But Monday morning at around 6.30 am he knocked at the door of his tenant Kasifa Nabulime and on opening the door, Nabulime poured urine on the landlord.

Egesa cursed and shouted for help at the top of his voice but other tenants and passers by instead laughed at him, accusing him of disturbing them early in the morning while still enjoying their sleep.

Nabulime defended herself by saying that she did not know that he was at he dour when she poured the urine. She confessed that she fears going out at night to urinate and she always  does it in a bucket and pours it out in the morning.

Egesa the landlord left grumbling and of course without the rent.
