Nairobi - The ongoing teachers strike was the most searched for term in Kenya on Google during the month of September.
Thanks to the ongoing strike, Kenyans have sought out information over the strike which is currently in its fifth week.
Teachers are currently demonstrating the reluctance by the government to pay them a 50/60% payrise effected by the Labour Courts.
The government says it has no money to do so.

Alleged rape doctor Mugo wa Wairimu's case came third in the searches. He was earlier Friday charged with 12 counts of rape and other offences for allegedly using his clinic in Nairobi's Githurai Estate to commit rape to unsuspecting patients.
Other key searches were the Capital One Cup in England, the Rugby World Cup, UEFA Champions League all in football, Anthony Martial of Manchester united, Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
