Kiambu women representative seat aspirant Mary Kirika has called upon TNA high table officials to apologise over postponement of the nominations.
Kirika said voters had showed TNA their loyalty and love by waking up early in the morning ready for the exercise only for the party to let them down.
She further stated that the incidence is worth an apology to the people for they had genuinely portrayed their great support.
“We are very much discouraged and if they are not aware, let them know they have discouraged us by wasting our time and resources,” Kirika said irritably.
She termed the issue as very disappointing, expressing suspecion that a certain malpractice and manipulation of results is in the cooking within the party.
The exercise was expected to kick off at 6 A.M on Thursday as it had been announced earlier but electorates were stranded at polling centres till afternoon when the party announced postponement.
Kirika was speaking at Thika town where she had registered as a voter and ready to cast herself the first vote for the TNA candidate in the newly created seat.
She is battling it out with Alice Gathecha, Lilian Mwaura and Catherine Ndung’u.
