TNA nomination delayed in Kajiado
17 January 2013, 17:29
Residents of Nkaimurunya in Kajiado North constituency arrived early to participate in the nomination exercise at Nakeel Primary located on Gataka Road.
The nomination exercise was however delayed by late arrival of the party nomination papers.
When the papers finally arrived the allocation for County Rep for Ward was missing on the nomination papers.
Some of residents became impatient and complained of foul play in the process.
After a brief consultation, TNA candidates for County Rep for Ward (Councillor) including Thomas Muraya resorted to manual draw papers.
The ODM nomination proceeded despite the delays.
By around 12 noon, TNA nomination exercise had not yet kicked as the party waited for County Rep for Ward to be included in the ballot papers.
