Nairobi - TNA chairman Johnson Sakaja has disowned the utterances by Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria who had insinuated that youth chop down those disturbing the National Youth Service NYS.
The comments by Kuria have drawn criticism from a wide range of persons including politicians and members of the public over purported hate speech.
Sakaja, who is the party chairman has said that he is disappointed with the remarks and that the party has no place for such feelings.
" The comments are unacceptable and are not in any way a reflection of what TNA stands for," he said in a local radio show.
" They are embarrassing and this party will not stand for them," he added.
He did not however state whether the party would take disciplinary action on the Gatundu MP.
Kuria was quoted as saying that people who are against the NYS and Devolution CS Anne Waiguru should be chopped for being against youth development.
