TNA Sec Gen to sue Bahati MP for defamation

05 March 2015, 11:38 Jackson Okata

Nakuru - The National Alliance party (TNA) Secretary General, Onyango Oloo has threatened to sue Bahati MP, Kimani Ngunjiri for linking him with corruption.

Ngunjiri had accused Oloo of receiving bribe from a Nakuru MCA, Samuel Waithuki who is the Nakuru County Assembly Majority Leader so as to ensure that TNA party endorses him against the embattled Mwaura Njenga who had been impeached from the position.

Speaking to the press Wednesday at Nakuru town, Oloo said the MP should prove all the allegations he leveled against him and report it to the EACC.

"Ngunjiri should go to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission with all the facts and report it there so that the EACC can come and charge me instead of uttering things in the public without facts. I am asking him to apologise with immediate effect failure to that I will sue him in court,” said Oloo.
