TNA: PM owes us an apology

05 February 2013, 12:27Steve Wambugu

TNA members in Nakuru County have come out calling for Land Minister James Orengo to clear the air whether the Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta is involved in any land grabbing scandal as alleged by the Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

The TNA top brass officials in Nakuru have said what the Prime Minister said about Uhuru Kenyatta amounts to hate speech and that they demand an apology from Raila for misleading the country.

Speaking to the media on Saturday in Nakuru town, TNA Nakuru branch chairman Boniface Muhia said that the Land Minister owes Kenyans some explanation over the allegations made against Uhuru Kenyatta by the Prime Minister.

“Orengo needs to come out clearly and say whether Uhuru Kenyatta is involved in any land grabbing as alleged by the Prime Minister,” said the TNA chairman.

He added that they will not continue to allow other political parties to hurl insults to TNA presidential hopeful saying Kenyans are past cheap politics of insults and badmouthing of other candidates.

Boniface regretted that CORD alliance had resorted to spreading propaganda instead of selling their policies to Kenyans.

The TNA members later proceeded to Menegai social hall in Nakuru to launch the Dunda Club for youths.

The launch was graced by TNA chairman John Sakaja.

Sakaja urged the youths not to be misused by any politicians while stressing the need for youths to vote for Jubilee Alliance saying the party stood a better chance of forming the next government.

He also said that the March 4th election will not be based on tribal lines but rather on unity among all Kenyans from all walks of life.
