Swallowing sperm has benefits

25 September 2014, 18:46 Shakila Alivitsa

Nairobi - I believe this research may be a conspiracy by the men to get more oral sex in their lives but here goes.

Some species as part of the reproduction process consume sperms to fuel their bodies as well as their eggs. Sperm has nutrients.According to Columbia Health, human male ejaculate contains fructose sugar, water, ascorbic acid (aka Vitamin C), citric acid, enzymes, protein, zinc and more.  The female squid seems to have tapped on this fountain of health way before the rest of the female species and it is shown to consume it like food.

So, would you? Obviously it is not safe when you are having casual sex, but it seems to have great benefits that those in a relationship can obtain from it if they are courageous enough to go ahead and swallow it. For all the complaining some men do, it seems they do have a lot less to worry about because I am not seeing them being asked to swallow anything.

Women on the other hand are being given incentives to convince them the benefits of swallowing semen. Some of them are:

Improves mental alertness

Increases energy

Improves concentration

Improves the memory and concentration

Improves quality of sleep

Reduces pain- due to the oxytocin found in the seminal fluid

Acts as a natural anti-depressant as well as anxiety reducer

This is due to the serotonin, the chemical that gives the body a mood lift.  Also found in the seminal fluid and commonly in anti-depressants

Assists with maintaining pregnancy

I was abit skeptical about this one but there may be some truth in it. It seems that some women are infertile or lose pregnancies because of the presence of antibodies that destroy the proteins or antigens present in her sexual partners semen. Giving him oral sex and swallowing his semen may help make the pregnancy safer and more successful as the woman is swallowing her partner's antigens.
