Nyeri - A Nyeri Technical Training Institute student on Tuesday denied stealing a laptop from his colleague.
Appearing before Principal Magistrate Susan Ngugi, Dennis Maina denied that on September 3 and 30 this year, he was found in possession of a stolen HP laptop worth KES 50 000 belonging to Micheal Mwangi.
The accused person was arrested and taken to Nyeri Central Police Station and after investigations, it was discovered that he had stolen the laptop from Mwangi’s room while he was away.
The magistrate however released him on bond of KES 30 000. The case hearing was slated for December 13.
