Nairobi - A member of parliament has advised Deputy President William Ruto to stop the ongoing war of words between him and CORD leader Raila Odinga because it is tarnishing his own image.
Kuresoi North Member of Parliament, Moses Cheboi said that by engaging in public spats with the former prime minister, deputy president Ruto is showing the public that he is a leader who cannot take criticism lightly.
Speaking Tuesday morning in Nakuru town, Cheboi told Ruto to stop reacting to whatever Raila says but instead concentrate on serving Kenyans.

“I don’t see why the deputy president should keep on wasting his time reacting to every comment Raila makes,” said Cheboi.
He added: “Ruto should learn from the president who rarely responds to Raila’s theatrics but instead lets his lieutenants react to that. The DP should focus his energy on doing what he was elected to do rather than exchanging words with Raila.”
Cheboi called on members of parliament from Rift valley to fiercely defend the DP the way their colleagues from central Kenya do the president.
