South African woman arrested at JKIA carrying Cocaine

Nairobi - A South African woman is being held in Kenya for allegedly being found carrying Cocaine in her suitcase at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport JKIA.
The woman, named by police as Dorothea Cecelia Albert was arrested Thursday and arraigned in court Monday morning for carrying the drugs in the suitcase.
According to Police records, she was arrested whilst having arrived from Addis Ababa Ethiopia.
She had originally traveled from Sao Paulo Brazil.
" She had the drugs at the bottom of her suitcase and was found at the airport while on transit to Johannesburg," a police officer that did not want to be named told News24.
It is understood that the South African High Commision has been made aware of the situation.
