South African Jazz great for Safaricom Festival

Nairobi - Jazz fans out there, it is that time of the year again where all the jazz enthusiasts and musicians convene in Kenyan to make up what is the most amazing Jazz festival in Africa, the Safaricom International Jazz Festival.

The previous festivals that have happened before this one were nothing short of amazing, with the last one featuring Richard Bona, the Cameroonian jazz maestro.

This time, it features South African great, Kunle Ayo, who graces the Safaricom stage for the first time, to touch the hearts and minds of all jazz fans in the country. The festival is known to deliver good music, food and people to network and enjoy jazz with. The events curtain raisers will be Kenya’s very own Kavutha and Jacob Asiyo.

It will be held on September 4, 2014 at the carnivore ground with tickets going for 2000ksh at the gate. The doors open at 6:30pm and the show begins at 7pm with the first performances.
