Sonko to slim-possible?

14 November 2014, 17:51 Eugene Odanga

Nairobi - Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko will join reality TV show slim-possible, he has said.

If you have been following Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko since his arrival into the political scene, you might have noticed that he has over the last few years gained quite a bit of weight. This morning he made a comment on a photo that he posted on his Facebook wall saying that he might need to join slim possible soon.

The photo shows him seated in what appears to be his office chair, and his massive belly sticking out through his white t-shirt. He commented “Next time naona nikijoin slim possible hapo vipi?” a comment which has elicited quite a reaction from a section of his fans.

To say that most, if not all, of our political leaders need to join a gym would be an understatement. The average Kenyan politician since independence has been known for having a massive belly, mainly thanks to their massive paychecks.
