Sonko moves Mzee Ojwang's body from Kenyatta Hospital

Nairobi - Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko has moved the late Mzee Ojwang's body from the Kenyatta National Hospital in respect of his status.
The Senator has effected the moving of the body to the Umash Funeral Home where the body will lie in state while it awaits burial.
" The body has been moved and is now awaiting preparations for the funeral," a member of Sonko's Rescue Team told News24.
Kenyans are still in mourning over the death of the veteran actor, who was known as Benson Wanjau.
The late Ojwang died Sunday evening at the Kenyatta National Hospital where he was undergoing treatment for pneumonia.
Ojwang has been acting for over 30 years and will be remembered for his
roles in Vitimbi, Vioja Mahakami, Vituko among others.
He died at the age of 78.
" He is a hero to all of us and we will grant him the best send off possible, " Sonko said Monday.
Details of his funeral and burial arrangements will be known in due course but according to sources, he is set to be buried over the weekend.
