Sonko lambastes MPs for rejecting Juma

Nairobi - Nairobi Senator, Mike Sonko has lashed out at MPs for rejecting Monica Juma’s nomination as Secretary to Cabinet.
He hit at the MPs saying they had failed to serve the electorate and instead opted to bring their personal issues in public service.
“The only time they unite is to fight a performer or increase their salaries.
“For me, rejection just motivates me to keep trying until I achieve my goal. For every successful actor or actress, there are quite a good number of them who don't make it. The name of the game is rejection,” Sonko said.

“You're rejected for your education, you're rejected for this or that and it's really tough,” he added.
He said it was sad to see the same MPs who have been playing tribal politics spear-heading the rejection of Juma.
“Once again, they have proved that they are indeed a rogue House. Saying no to the President is saying no to Kenyans,” he said.
According to Sonko, the National Assembly needs to style up and work for Kenyans instead of being involved in cheap politics.
