Sonko accused of threatening lawyer over estate

Mombasa - A Mombasa based lawyer has filed petition at the high court seeking the revocation of the latter of administration on a muilti billion estate and accused Mike Sonko of threatening her.
Lawyer Lucy Momanyi had filed petition under the certificate of urgency seeking the revocation her of the letter of administration on the multi million estate of the late James Simmons bell house on grounds that the deceased wife joy Nadzua bellhouse has become inoperative.
In a sworn affidavit before the high court dated May 29 2014 Momanyi had stated that Joy Nadzua had made serious allegations against her alleging fraud and theft from the deceased estate.
In the application Lawyer Momanyi a co administrator in the estate requested the court to compel the deceased wife to expose the status of banks accounts and shares CMC East African breweries limited Uchumi East African cables, Kenya power Generators Kenya airways and Mumias sugar company
In the affidavit Momanyi indicated that the diseased wife informed her of the late beach plots which were not mentioned in the deceased will and upon search she discovered that the said plots were registered to mountain city limited
Joy Nadzua informed momanyi that he had sought assistance of a Politian friend who would assist her get the land.
Momanyi said in 2012 he met Mike sonko who was then the makadara mp outside the Mombasa law court , and sonko indicated to her that Joy nadzua had complained to him that I had defraud her a beach plot and other properties and money
She further sated that on February 28 2014 she received a threatening call from Mike sonoin regard to appending Mombasa magistrate case no 929 of 2012. She stated that in the threatening call sonko had reminded her that she had defrauded the estate and accused her of being a thief and a dishonest lawyer
